Fruits Fiesta!

FRUITS FIESTA! Or, daily life with my dear host parents.

There is a greengrocer's on the way home from my host dad's work.

Since they are cheap he usually loads up on bananas, peaches,

watermelon, grapes, you name it.

(Fruits in this country are so much sweeter than in America,

so they make a perfect dessert!)

 

"It's for you that I bought all these, Erika!" he says.

So kind! So gallant! But I do think he's half joking,

because I know who in the house is the biggest fruit lover.
