Not the Salvation Army

Back in Oklahoma, as Christmas approaches we often see the Salvation Army outside of Wal Mart. They catch shoppers' attention by wearing Santa-colored vests and jolly smiles, and you always hear their ringing bell. The other day I heard a bell ringing for donations but it wasn't the Salvation Army! What an unusual sight for my eyes! Standing just outside the train station was a man in priestly attire. He had a bell in his right hand, a bowl in his right, and a reed hat over his face. Almost too softly to be heard, he was chanting something.

I felt like either I had popped into another world, or he had popped into mine from his.

I really wanted to look under his hat to see what kind of face he had, but I was in a hurry to catch my train.

P.S. This is the actual state of my corkboard.
